Lyrics
[Intro]
Oh, fuck.
Not again.
[Verse 1]
Seven-fifteen, mascara in a taxi
Coffee in my hand, don’t fucking ask me
Somebody bumps me, doesn’t say excuse me
Baby, it’s too early – don’t confuse me
Red light, late train, somebody’s staring
Boss keeps calling like I should be caring
One deep breath, I change my latitude
Turn the attitude into gratitude
[Pre-Chorus]
Smile for the morning
Smile for the view
Smile like the universe
Didn’t just fuck with you
Okay…
I’m grateful.
So grateful.
Look at me.
[Chorus]
Turn the attitude into gratitude
Fix your face, baby, change the mood
Life gets messy, coffee gets cold
But I’m still hot, so I’ve been told
Turn the attitude into gratitude
Nobody gives a fuck, you prostitute
Put your lipstick on, fix your crown
If the day wants war —
I’M GOING DOWNTOWN.
[Drop]
Attitude.
Gratitude.
Atti-atti-attitude.
Grati-grati-gratitude.
[Verse 2]
Nine-oh-five and I’m already done
Meeting at ten – pretending it’s fun
“Could you be nicer?”
Honey, I could.
But would I mean it?
No.
Didn’t think I would.
Elevator mirror, checking my face
One little smile and I’m back in my place
Maybe life’s good…
Maybe I’m rude…
Either way, baby–
[Build]
Turn…
the attitude…
into…
GRATITUDE.
[Drop]
Nobody gives a fuck–
you prostitute.
Attitude.
Gratitude.
Coffee.
Lipstick.
Fuck it.
[Outro]
Anyway…
Have a beautiful day, babe.
I won’t.
The Single
Not Again.
Some mornings begin with gratitude. This one begins with: “Oh, fuck. Not again.”
Coffee gets cold. The train is late. The boss keeps calling. Everybody wants a smile before the day has earned one.
Turn the Attitude Into Gratitude follows one woman through exactly that kind of morning: mascara in a taxi, fake positivity, office pressure and the increasingly impossible task of pretending everything is fine.
The phrase sounds like wellness advice. The record turns it into sarcasm.
She breathes. She fixes her face. She tries to change the mood. And when all of that fails, the song does what it was always going to do: drops the polite version and says what everyone else was thinking.
A modern tech-house record built around attitude, humour and a vocal that never apologises for taking up space.
“Some mornings start with gratitude. This one doesn’t.”
DJ Andy'K × Lia Bonson
Full Circle
Lia Bonson is not a new name in DJ Andy'K's story.
A longtime friend, connected through music, nightlife and memories stretching from Ibiza to Amsterdam, Lia was also there at the beginning: she became Andy's first-ever vocal collaboration.
It started with “Own It.”
The collaboration was real, but the finished record never became something Andy felt represented the sound he wanted the two of them to be known for. Lia allowed the song to remain without being publicly presented as its featured artist.
It could have ended there.
It didn’t.
The beginning wasn’t the end.

The Collaboration
Own It → Almost Home → Attitude to Gratitude
- 01 · Own ItThe Beginning
Their first recording together — and Andy’s first vocal collaboration. Lia remained outside the public featuring credit.
- 02 · Almost HomeThe Return
They found their way back into the studio. This time Lia appeared officially as a featured artist.
- 03 · Turn the Attitude Into GratitudeFull Circle
Years of friendship, music and shared history finally became a record built around Lia’s personality, voice, humour and attitude.
Not a new collaboration.
A collaboration that finally found its attitude.

The Release
Three Versions. One Attitude.
01 / Original Mix
The core version: modern 2026 tech house, punchy kick, rolling bass and Lia’s dry, sarcastic spoken delivery at the centre.
02 / Retro Rock Crossover Mix
A more rebellious alternate take, bringing a rougher crossover character into the record without losing the club pulse.
03 / Melodic Club Mix
The more melodic side of the single — broader atmosphere, more lift and a club-focused emotional arc around the same vocal personality.

Making Of
“This was supposed to be serious.”
It lasted about five minutes.
In the Studio
Good music. Good people. Questionable behaviour.
